Sitronics buys into international IT company
RBC, 28.03.2008, Moscow 12:14:26.Sitronics, Sistema Financial Corporation's high tech affiliate, has purchased a 36-percent stake in the international IT company Kvazar-Micro, Sitronics said in a statement today. The shares were bought for $116.9m from Melrose Holdings S.A., largely owned by Sitronics's former President Evgeny Utkin. Sitronics paid for the stake in cash and with its own shares. As a result of the deal, Sitronics's stake in Kvazar-Micro increased to 87 percent, while Melrose Holdings went down to 3.07 percent.
