Kalina's IFRS-based net profit jumps
RBC, 27.03.2008, Moscow 18:21:18.Kalina's net profit under IFRS rose 40.2 percent to $21.547m in 2007, the Russian cosmetics producer said in a statement today. Sales revenue amounted to $396.095m in 2007, up 15.1 percent from a year earlier. Meanwhile, gross profit grew 21.7 percent to $188.454m, and EBITDA went up 14.1 percent to $49.858m. The concern's management attributes the rise in revenue to the Russian cosmetics market's growth and a wider range of the company's products.
