Acron posts higher net profit
RBC, 27.03.2008, Moscow 17:57:03.The net profit of Acron under RAS soared 79 percent to RUB 5.651bn (approx. USD 238.84m) in 2007 compared to a year earlier, the Russian mineral fertilizer producer indicated in a statement today. Consolidated revenue stood at RUB 30.876bn (approx. USD 1.3bn), which is 28 percent greater than in 2006. EBITDA surged 62 percent to RUB 8.736bn (approx. USD 369.23m). Production cost went up 21 percent from RUB 14.645bn (approx. USD 618.98m) in 2006 to RUB 17.713bn (approx. USD 748.65m) in 2007. Sales profit increased 53 percent to RUB 8.527bn (approx. USD 360.4m).
