Finance Ministry agrees with rise in inflation forecast
RBC, 26.03.2008, Moscow 17:57:36.Russia's Finance Ministry has agreed with the Economy Ministry's revision of the inflation forecast for 2008 from 8.5 percent to 9.5 percent, Deputy PM and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin told journalists today. According to the Finance Ministry's estimates, inflation rate is expected to reach 7 - 9.5 percent in 2008, Kudrin said, adding that such a wide range of the estimates resulted from the unclear situation on the capital market.
