Pharmacy Chain 36.6 set to boost sales
RBC, 26.03.2008, Moscow 16:39:47.Pharmacy Chain 36.6 is planning to increase its annual sales 4.5 times in five years, from $673.6m in 2007 to $3bn by 2012, the company's President Jere Calmes told a press conference today. The pharmacy chain's payables amount to $270m, with $250m due to be paid off in 2008 as part of the company's refinancing program, which also includes the sale of its non-core assets and real estate, as well as raising loans. The company also intends to gain a 10-15 percent share of Russia's pharmaceutical market in the next three to five years, while its current market share is 6.1 percent. The pharmacy chain had 379 brand products as of the end of 2007. While they account for 2-4 percent of total sales, the company is planning to increase their share to 10 percent of total sales.
