Russia posts month-to-date inflation
RBC, 26.03.2008, Moscow 14:19:26.Russia's inflation stood at 0.9 percent between March 1 and March 24 and at 0.3 percent between March 18 and March 24, the Russian State Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported today. Meanwhile, Russia's inflation was 0.6 percent in March 2007 and 0.5 percent between March 1 and March 24, 2007. The highest increase was registered in food prices, as the consumer price index has climbed 2.6-5.4 percent since the beginning of the month and 1-2.3 percent over the previous week.
