Defense industry to produce more civilian goods
RBC, 26.03.2008, Moscow 11:49:08.Russian defense industry enterprises should increase the share of civilian output to 60 percent by 2015, First Deputy Pime Minister Sergei Ivanov said during a meeting of the Russian government's military industry commission today. He noted that, formally speaking, the conventional arms sector would not pertain directly to the defence and industrial complex, as the bulk of its output would consist of civilian goods. At the same time, he assured that the country's defense capacity would continue to be ensured.
