TNK-BP subsidiary hit by huge back tax claims
RBC, 25.03.2008, Moscow 19:25:45.The Russian Interior Ministry's Chief Directorate for the Central Federal District is investigating a criminal case involving the SIDANCO oil company (which became part of TNK-BP in 2003) on account of evading taxes worth over RUB 1bn (approx. USD 42m), the directorate's press office reported. As reported earlier, TNK-BP and BP Russia's Moscow offices were searched by Russian law enforcement officers on March 19.
