Gov't to review nanotechnology program
RBC, 16.01.2008, Moscow 18:41:10.Russia's annual sales of nanotechnology products are expected to amount to RUB 900bn (approx. USD 37.05bn) in 2015, a source close to the Education and Science Ministry told journalists today. The goal is indicated in a draft nanotechnology development program, which is now in the final stage of government approval. The program is a framework document, which does not provide for any additional expenditures, and is scheduled to be approved before the end of the first quarter of 2008, the source stated. According to the program, Russia's share of high-tech products on the global market is projected to reach roughly 3 percent by 2015.
