Russia to develop national brand
RBC, 15.01.2008, Moscow 14:32:56.The development of a strategy for the national brand is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2008 in accordance with the plan to carry out the Russian Economy Ministry's concept of promoting brands of national and regional products and services. The strategy is to be developed by the Economy, Industry and Energy, Foreign, Culture, Regional Development, and Tourism Ministries, the press office of the Russian government reported today. The concept provides for an increase in Russian products and services' non-price competitiveness on both domestic and global markets. In order to make the Russian brand popular, its designers plan to do research on its image, create its development and promotion strategies, as well as draft long-term advertising campaigns aimed at the formation of a positive image of the brand.
