Tough year for Russian stock market, experts say
RBC, 25.12.2007, Moscow 15:26:57.The Russian stock market has experienced a rather difficult year, analysts told RBC TV today. A crisis broke out on the US mortgage lending market in mid-year, which was primarily attributed to a lack of information for investors. Experts point out that most of investor concerns have been addressed, which resulted in a change of trend on the US and global markets. Meanwhile, some analysts believe that business split between Mikhail Prokhorov and Vladimir Potanin was the most significant event of the year. Among second-tier companies, fertilizers producers have seen the most increase in share prices.
