State Duma seat allocation waiting for official results
RBC, 03.12.2007, Moscow 11:25:12.The Central Election Commission will not deal out seats in the State Duma until all ballots have been tallied and it has received all paperwork related to the voting results, Vladimir Churov, the commission's Chairman, told journalists today. He said he had not yet launched the program that would yield a preliminary seat distribution, as the commission had to wait until the remaining 2 percent of the vote are counted. The program will take only 2 minutes to outline the allocation of seats.
