Economy Ministry claims no mega-regulator necessary
RBC, 11.09.2007, Moscow 10:41:22.There is no need to create a mega-regulator for financial markets, as the unified legislative system already acts as one, an Economy Ministry representative told journalists today. As reported earlier, the concept of a single multi-functional state body regulating financial markets was being developed by the Federal Financial Market Service under its former chief Oleg Vyugin.
