Moldova ranks 5th in terms of bank transfers from Russia
RBC, 11.07.2007, Chita 09:27:12.In 2006, Moldova ranked fifth in the CIS in terms of money transfers from Russia, RBC's correspondent in Chisinau said citing the Bank of Russia. Moldova received some $525m in bank transfers using various systems, or about 8.7 percent of the total bank transfers from Russia to the CIS. According to the Bank of Russia, Uzbekistan occupied the first place claiming 16.7 percent (around $1bn) of the total bank transfers, followed by Tajikistan with 15.9 percent ($957m), Ukraine with 15.4 percent ($927m) and Armenia with 10.1 percent ($604m).
