Russia posts higher agricultural equipment exports
RBC, 14.05.2007, Moscow 18:52:16.Russia's exports of agricultural equipment surged 77 percent to $51.2m in the first quarter of 2007 compared to the same period a year earlier. According to Soyuzagromash, the Russian union of agricultural machinery and equipment producers, Kazakhstan imports 72.2 percent of Russia's agricultural equipment. Russia's imports of agricultural equipment in January-March 2007 doubled and amounted to $444.7m (against $198.5m in Q1 2006). Russia imports such equipment mainly from Germany and the US (32 percent and 22.8 percent, respectively).
