Russian Defense Ministers may visit Israel
RBC, 18.10.2006, Moscow 19:52:50.Russian Deputy Prime Minister / Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov would be pleased to visit to Israel, he said in answer to an invitation Israeli PM Ehud Olmert extended to him during today's meeting in Moscow. The Israeli Defense Minister has asked the PM to invite Ivanov to come on an official visit. "Israel is, of course, smaller than Russia, but it is also a very interesting country," Olmert added. In turn, Ivanov said that he had never been to the Middle East, and would be glad to visit Israel.
