Russia to set gas price for Ukraine soon
RBC, 22.09.2006, Moscow 14:19:15.The gas price for Ukraine for 2006 will be set in the next few days, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said after a briefing with his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovich. Russia and Ukraine have almost agreed on the gas balance for 2006 and the next 3-5 years, Fradkov added. Fradkov stated that Viktor Yanukovich would meet with Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller today. Both parties are looking for a compromise that would satisfy both Ukrainian gas consumers and Russian suppliers, he added.
