Gazprom eyes raising domestic gas prices
RBC, 29.03.2006, Moscow 09:28:17.Gazprom's Board of Directors proposes to consider a number of operational issues at its next meeting, including the feasibility of raising gas prices on the home market, the implementation of Gazprom's export strategy in so far as it concerns increasing natural gas sales to European countries, the progress of structural reforms at Gazprom, Gazprom's strategy with regard to Gazprombank, and the construction of a subsurface storage facility in the Kaliningrad region. The company's business plan for 2006 predicts gas production to be 548bn cubic meters of gas, gas exports to be 195.6bn cubic meters, including 151bn cubic meters to be supplied to countries outside the CIS.
