Tatneft posts oil production
RBC, 14.03.2006, Almetyevsk 11:23:03.According to revised data, Tatneft's oil production increased by 2.62 percent to 5.06m tons in January-February 2006 compared to 4.13m tons for the same period a year ago, the company's press service reported. This overrides the earlier announced figure of 4.131m tons. In February, oil output grew 2.39 percent to 2.42m tons compared to the same month in 2005. Over the first two months of 2006 Tatneft reported drilling 114,800 meters, up 1 percent on the target. In 2005 Tatneft increased oil production by 0.9 percent to 25.33m tons compared to a year earlier. In 2006, the company expects a 0.87-percent decrease in oil output to 25.11m tons against 2005.
