December inflation posted
RBC, 23.12.2005, Moscow 13:51:55.Inflation amounted to 0.5 percent for the first 19 days of December 2005, Economic Development & Trade Minister German Gref told journalists. The minister said he was positive that the overall inflation rate would be 1 percent in December 2005. Earlier, the Economy Ministry decreased the inflation forecast for the current year from 11.5 percent to 11.2 percent. In January through November 2005, inflation reached 10 percent. In 2004, consumer price growth stood at 11.7 percent in Russia.
