Russia's foreign exchange reserves growing
RBC, 10.11.2005, Moscow 10:24:23.The foreign exchange reserves of the Russian Central Bank totaled USD164.7bn in the week ending November 4. This is USD400m higher than a week earlier. Gold and currency reserves have been advancing for the second week in a row, adding USD2bn, or 1.2 percent. The weekly growth of USD400m was minimal since the end of August. This slowing growth could be due to the Russian Central Bank intervening less in trade on the domestic foreign exchange market.
