Justice minister on extradition of Russia's former nuclear chief
RBC, 05.10.2005, Moscow 13:18:17.Russian justice minister Yuri Chaika believes that the US is not disclosing its true intention in promising to extradite former Russian nuclear minister Evgeny Adamov to Russia once the term of his sentence in the US is over. As Chaika said addressing the Federation Council senators, Adamov could be sentenced to a 60-year imprisonment term and after that he is unlikely to be handed over to Russia. Meanwhile, Russian laws allow investigations into crimes committed by Russians abroad, therefore Adamov should be extradited to Russia, he stressed.
