State Duma wants Winter Olympics 2014 to be held in Sochi
RBC, 26.07.2005, Moscow 14:44:43.Boris Gryzlov, speaker of the State Duma supports the idea of hosting the Winter Olympics 2014 in Sochi, and believes that most Russians do as well. According to the speaker, Russia has always been one of Olympic leaders. He said he hoped that hosting Olympics could become an additional stimulus for the development of the Russian sports infrastructure and physical culture, and make sports popular.
