Ukrainian President to attend military parade in Moscow
RBC, 06.05.2005, Kiev 15:02:18.Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko will attend the military parade in Moscow in the morning of May 9, 2005, after which he will return to Kiev (Ukraine) to take part in Victory Day celebrations there, the Ukrainian President's press service has reported to RBC. Yushchenko will be on a visit to Moscow on May 8 and 9, during which he will take part in a meeting of heads of state of CIS countries and Victory Day celebrations. The President will also meet war veterans and attend a Victory Day concert. Yushchenko will come back to Kiev around 2 p.m. Moscow time to take part in celebrations in the Ukrainian capital, such as a parade of war veterans and a dinner for soldiers. Additionally, RBC has received information that a Russian-Ukrainian agreement on creating a joint presidential commission and a plan for the commission's work for 2005 may be signed during Yushchenko's trip to Russia.
