Russian-Vietnamese trade to be boosted
RBC, 07.04.2005, Moscow 19:45:58.Russian-Vietnamese trade could expand 12.8 percent this year and expand USD1bn, participants of the Russian-Vietnamese intergovernmental commission for trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation believe, the press department of the Russian Economic Development and Trade Ministry has reported. Vietnamese representatives have expressed their interest in Russia's participation in the construction of a hydro power station, development of the iron-ore deposit, design and production of energy equipment, and cooperation with it in car assembly projects. The Russian Economic Development and Trade Ministry said it would consider the possibility of Russia's funding some Vietnamese projects. Russia is also interested in cooperation in atomic energy project, creation of the system of satellite communications in Vietnam and promoting Vietnam-made aircraft on the market.
