Russia calls for law compliance in Kyrgyzstan
RBC, 24.03.2005, Moscow 19:51:02.The statement released by Russia's foreign ministry with regard to the situation in Kyrgyzstan reads that developments in the country have raised serious concerns. In the capital, Bishkek, demonstrators have occupied the offices of President Askar Akayev's administration and the government. Under the present conditions, Russia's foreign ministry says that it is of primary importance to follow the law and urges the conflicting parties to comply with the Kyrgyz constitution, and abstain from activities threatening peace and public security.
