Retired officer suspected of assassination attempt on RAO UES head
RBC, 18.03.2005, Moscow 09:21:01.A retired colonel of the Russian Defense Ministry's General Staff has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in yesterday's attempt to kill RAO UES head Anatoly Chubais, NTV television has reported. The detained colonel is an expert in commando operations. Authorities have managed to find him after tracing a car they suspected of being used as a getaway. Most probably, the colonel will be examined by forensic psychiatrists.
