Kazakhstan to impose oil export duties
RBC, 31.01.2005, Astana 10:41:45.Kazakhstan plans to impose oil export duties in 2005 and interim bans on oil exports due to seasonal factors, head of the upper chamber of the Kazakhstani parliament Vladimir Shkolnik has announced. He reported that the parliament is considering this measure as one of the possibilities aimed at enhancing market saturation. As Shkolnik announced, the oil ministry plans to process no less than 9.8m tons in Kazakhstani refineries in 2005.
