Russia holds successful WTO talks with Japan
RBC, 14.01.2005, Moscow 18:40:53.Negotiations with Japan concerning Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) are being held successfully, Russian Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko told journalists after today's meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura. As Khristenko pointed out, most disagreements have been settled at present. According to him, documents concerning Russia's accession to the WTO may be signed within the framework of preparations to President Vladimir Putin's visit to Japan as well as a meeting of a bilateral intergovernmental commission in Tokyo scheduled for the end of February to the beginning of March 2005.
