Russia to increase gas supplies to Turkey
RBC, 11.01.2005, Moscow 16:25:47.Russia and Turkey have reached an agreement on increasing Russian gas supplies to Turkey and Russia's participation in gas distribution in this country, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared at a meeting with Turkish businessmen in Moscow. In particular, the parties have agreed on constructing a gas storage facility in Turkey, the Mayak radio station quoted the head of state as saying. Expansion of cooperation in the gas sphere was one of the main issues that Putin discussed with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan, who is on a working visit in Moscow.
