Russia to send its envoy to Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone
RBC, 15.10.2004, Moscow 18:36:20.Inappropriate use of military force by Israel in densely populated areas impedes the settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the information and press department of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported. In this connection, Moscow calls on Israel to withdraw its troops from Gaza as soon as possible and Palestinian authorities to take strict measures against extremists. Taking into account the exigencies of the situation, Russia is planning to send a special envoy of the Foreign Ministry to the region.
