PM comments on Russia's intellectual property
RBC, 15.10.2004, Moscow 17:12:50.The Russian Education and Science Ministry has worked out and submitted to the government its proposals on improving the existing laws on the protection of intellectual property, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov announced at a meeting of the government commission for countering violations of intellectual property laws. The government commission will consider these proposals today, he stressed. Russia's scientific and technical potential and intellectual property are its major wealth and competitive advantage, the Prime Minister stressed. These advantages should help achieve the social and economic goals of Russia, he added. "However, we have not found the mechanisms for using our wealth," Fradkov said.
