Most Georgian servicemen released
RBC, 09.07.2004, Tbilisi 12:59:05.Some 47 out of 50 Georgian servicemen, who were captured in the zone of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict yesterday, have been released, a source in the South Ossetian government told RBC. The servicemen will be delivered by buses to the suburbs of South Ossetian capital of Tskhinvali, where their relatives and representatives of the Georgian government are waiting for them. According to preliminary data, three Georgian servicemen will remain in South Ossetia because South Ossetian authorities believe that they took part in crimes committed in the republic.
