Foreign minister comments on Qatari court's decision
RBC, 30.06.2004, Moscow 15:19:18.Moscow still considers that two Russian citizens arrested in Qatar are not guilty of the assassination of former Chechen rebel leader Zelimkhan Yandarbiyev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov declared commenting on the decision of a Qatari court to sentence the two Russians to life imprisonment, the information and press department of the ministry reported. Respecting the court procedures of Qatar, lawyers will appeal this decision. Moscow will continue insisting on the soonest return of its citizens, the minister said.
