Foreign investments not to decrease in Russia
RBC, 21.06.2004, Moscow 11:24:26.Growth in foreign investments in 2004 may remain at the level of 2003 and reach 60 percent, Russian Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin told journalists today. According to him, growth in foreign investments amounted to 60 percent in 2003. "I think that this pace will remain this year as well," he pointed out. According to the minister, it shows that investors do not regard the situation with YUKOS as uneasy. Tax legislation is very harsh in many countries, he said. In particular, US tax authorities would take stricter measures in a situation similar to that with YUKOS.
