YUKOS shareholders` accounts in Swiss banks blocked
RBC, 11.03.2004, Moscow 19:24:19.The Swiss Prosecutor's Office has blocked bank accounts belonging to YUKOS shareholders, Nataliya Vishnyakova, the head of PR department of the Russian Prosecutor's Office reported. Twenty accounts in five Swiss banks worth about $5m had been frozen, she said. Among those, whose bank accounts were blocked, are Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Platon Lebedev, Leonid Nevzlin, Vladimir Dubov, Mikhail Brudno, Alexander Temirko and others. Vishnyakova stressed that the blocked accounts held "private deposits of individuals, not assets, shares or other securities". The Russian Prosecutor`s Office has initiated the arrest.
