Russian gas supplies to Poland to be discussed next week
RBC, 02.03.2004, Moscow 18:06:27.Gazprom and PGNiG managers will consider the issue concerning Russian gas supplies to Poland at a meeting in Warsaw (Poland) on March 9 to 10, Gazprom deputy CEO Alexander Ryazanov declared at a news conference. Speaking about a 48-hour suspension of gas transit via Belarus in late February Gazexport general director Alexander Medvedev said that "the situation with supplies to Poland was not catastrophic at all". Yesterday the head of the Polish state company PGNiG declared that the company demanded compensations from Gazprom for the interruption of gas supplies.
