Putin says Russia not to negotiate with terrorists
RBC, 06.02.2004, Moscow 15:58:35. Russia does not negotiate with terrorists; Russia eliminates them, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared after his talks with Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev in the Kremlin today. Commenting on the terrorist attack committed in Moscow Metro this morning he mentioned that some people urged Russian state authorities to negotiate with rebels' leader Aslan Maskhadov. The president said he considered such calls as one of the means of the election campaign. Putin expressed condolences to relatives of the blast victims, Mayak radio reported.
