Russia to provide China, Iraq and Mongolia with humanitarian aid
RBC, 08.12.2003, Moscow 19:40:26.Russia and the UN World Food Program (WFP) intend to carry out a number of humanitarian operations, Russian Deputy Emergencies Minister Yury Brazhnikov told reporters today. This issue was in the highlight of today's meeting between Russian Emergencies Minister Sergey Shoigu and WFP Executive Director James Morris. In particular, according to Brazhnikov, Russia will provide China with $10m in humanitarian aid. Additionally, the WFP and the Russian Emergencies Ministry are going to render similar assistance to Iraq and Mongolia.
