Today Russian nuclear scientists distributed an declaration expressing their worry about the state of the present Russian-American relationships. The declaration was signed by full member of the Russian academy of science, Nobel Prize winner Alexander Prokhorov, full member of the Russian academy of science, president of the Russian science center "Kurchatov institute" Eugeny Velikhov and by full member of the Russian academy of science Nikolay Dollezhal. The declaration mentions the rise of negative attitudes on the state level. In view of the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections in Russia, the authors of the declaration appealed to Boris Yeltsin and Bill Clinton to hold out their hands before the millenium change.
