According to the data of the Defense Ministry the Russian Air Force continued destroying bases of the insurgents in the villages of Samashki and Pobedinskoye and on the skirts of Grozny, the capital of Chechnya. Units of the Interior Ministry finished clearing operations in the villages of Nagornoye, Vinogradnoye, Darbarkhi, Braguny and they continue to clear the village of Engel-Yurt. In the Shelkovskoy region a meeting of local authorities of villages of the region was held. Questions of the return of refugees, restoration of living conditions and social sphere is to be discussed at the meeting.
