Aeroflot Starts To Reduce Its Fleet

Aeroflot Russian International Airlines will reduce its fleet by 17 planes. At present the company's total number of planes is 124. This reduction is due to the commercial necessity of the company. They will amortize five old Il-86s, five Tu-154s and seven Il-76s. The company has not made a decision on the future of these planes. They may be used at a subsidiary company, which is expected to be created in the near future for charter and other irregular regional flights.
