The federal air forces performed more than 70 sorties in Chechnya during the last 24 hours, reported the Headquarters of the Unified Group of the Russian Troops in the North Caucasus. Terrorists' military camps and the complex of buildings in Grozny were bombed. The terrorists field commander Shamil Basayev's command post underwent severe firing as well. The front aviation destroyed two bridges over the Argun river and bombed terrorists' positions on the Tersky mountain ridge.
